South Jakarta Culture Sub-department held Band Music Festival 2023 at Ground Floor Poins Mall TB Simatupang, R.A Kartini Street, Lebak Bulus, Cilandak.

South Jakarta Culture Sub-department Head Rusmantoro said this event aims to provide a platform for young people to showcase their expression in music art.

"We hold it for three days from October 20-22, 2023," he expressed Friday (10/20).

Rusmantoro explained that this festival was held with three competition categories: general, students, and college students. The general category was followed by 13 bands, the student category by 20 bands, and the student category by ten bands.

"We present the jury from the Association of Creative Indie Music Communities (Askomik)," he said.

He added the winners of this festival will be included in all South Jakarta Cultural Sub-department activities with music nuances.

"Hopefully this festival can give birth to many quality bands in the Indonesian music scene," he stated.
