The first stage is playing instrumental music (mares and was), Sundanese mountain songs, and gambang kromong songs in general. Later, dangdut songs were also played. The next stage is to perform a dance called the "Jinong Dance" to the accompaniment of the songs usually performed on the gambang kromong, such as Jali-jali, Persi Rusak, and Gelatik Nguknguk.
