The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government received a Certificate of Registration of Kerak Telor as Communal Intellectual Property (KIK) from the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights on Friday, September 15, 2023.

On the 3rd day of the National Workshop on Strengthening Understanding of KIK, Director General of DJKI, Min Usihen, representing the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) of The Republic of Indonesia, Yasonna H. Laoly, gave KIK Recording Letters to 10 Provinces, one of which was DKI Jakarta represented by Imam Hadi Purnomo, Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Cultural Department.

Kerak Telor, a typical food of DKI Jakarta Province, was recorded as KIK with the number PT31202200055.
