The DKI Jakarta Provincial Cultural Department has held the Award Night of the 2023 Student Theater Festival at the Big Theater Building, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta, on Monday, October 16, 2023.

The 2023 Student Theater Festival was held seven days from October 7–14, 2023. The judges were Madin Tyasawan (UMT Drama Studies Lecturer and Theater Activist), Sri Qadariatin (Director and Actor of Garasi Theater), and Septian Dwi Cahyo (Pantomime/Actor/Artist).

There were five best groups at the 2023 Student Theater Festival Award Night, namely:

Teater Detik (SMAN 86, South Jakarta)
Teater Ganar (SMA 27, Central Jakarta)
Teater Thelapan (SMA 8, South Jakarta)
Quantum Theater (SMAN 84, West Jakarta)
Soia Theater (SMA 101, West Jakarta)
In addition, the best champions were also divided by category, among others:

Best Director, Azrien (Detik Theater, South Jakarta)
Best Male Actor, Raditya Alpha (Senjakala Theater, Central Jakarta)
Best Female Actor, Ayesha Nayyara (Teater Ganar, Central Jakarta)
Best Music Director, Nadia Natasha (Teater Detik, South Jakarta)
Best Costume, M. Ariel Faiz (Quantum Theater, West Jakarta)
Best Make-Up, Sahira Khairunnisa (Teater Semu 95, West Jakarta)
Best Lighting Designer, Annisa Hafizah (Teater Thelapan, South Jakarta)
Best Set Designer, M. Fikri (Teater Quantum, West Jakarta)
Congratulations to the best groups! The group participants are the three best groups that have competed at the regional level. The number of theater groups that passed from 5 regions in DKI Jakarta amounted to 15 theater groups.

The purpose of this FTP is to hone and improve creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. This activity is also an arena for healthy competition and friendship between students to find the best talents in the field of theater arts.
