The Jakarta Cultural Department warmly welcomed the delegates of the 2023 ASEAN Summit at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Monday, September 4, 2023.

The welcoming of the Timor Leste delegation in the morning was carried out, among others, with flower garlands and dance performances by studios assisted by the Cultural Department through the East Jakarta Cultural Sub-Department.

The mesmerizing dance was Geol Manis, a typical Betawi welcome dance. In this dance, we feel the joy and enthusiasm of the young people of Jakarta in welcoming guests from all over ASEAN.

The 2023 ASEAN Summit will become a harmonious and meaningful cooperation forum. Let us realize the vision and mission of a strong culture in ASEAN unity!
