East Jakarta Culture Sub-Department Holds Art Competition for Students

East Jakarta Culture Sub-Department will hold an art competition for students. This annual event will be held from September 4 to 7 at the Kisam Dji'un Cultural Arts Training Center Building, H. Naman Street, Pondok Kelapa Village, Duren Sawit.

Head of the Development Section of East Jakarta Culture Sub-Department, Loly Yunita, said registration for this competition has been open from August 16 to 24. Her side has also coordinated with Education Satpel in 10 sub-districts to inform schools about this event.

"We open online registration through social media from August 14 to 24. But the registration will be closed soon if the quota has been met," said Loly on Monday (8/21).

According to her, five types of competitions will be held in the event. For kindergarten students, the competitors are dancing and coloring. Then, the elementary school category is choir, and junior high school is choir and dance. At the same time, high school is musicalization and vocal group.

"Until now, registration for the elementary to high school category has been closed, only for the kindergarten category. drawing and dancing competitions," he said.

As mentioned, five types of competitions will be held in this activity. Each kindergarten student participates in dancing and coloring. Then, the elementary school category is choir, and junior high school is choir and dance. In contrast, high school is musicalization and vocal group.

"The competition will be opened by East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar and Head of Jakarta Cultural Department," said Loly.

The competition winners, Loly explained, will receive trophies, certificates, and money. For the group competition, the first winner will receive Rp 12.5 million, the second winner Rp 10 million, and the third winner Rp 8.5 million. The first runner-up is Rp 7.5 million, and the second is Rp 6.5 million.

Then, for individual competitions, the first winner is Rp 3.5 million, the second is Rp 3 million, and the third is Rp 2.5 million. The first runner-up will receive Rp 2 million, and the second will receive Rp 1.750 million. This individual competition only applies to the type of drawing competition for kindergarten student participants.
