The Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Cultural Department, Imam Hadi Purnomo, opened the 2023 Student Theater Festival, which was marked by beating the gong in the lobby of the Little Theater, Taman Ismail Marzuki, on Saturday, (8/10/2023).

Besides being attended by the Secretary of the Department, the Jakarta Arts Council (DKJ) Theater Committee and representatives were also present. After the opening, it was followed by watching the first performance of Teater Semu 95.

This year's Student Theater Festival was attended by 15 theater groups representing 5 regions in DKI Jakarta.

The purpose of FTP activities is to hone and improve creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. In addition, this activity is also an arena for healthy and creative competition in the bond of friendship between students to find the best talents in the field of theater arts.

With this activity, it is hoped that it can become a place of appreciation and increase cultural arts literacy, as well as be part of shaping the character of future generations of Indonesia.
