Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Cultural Department, Iwan Henry Wardhana, appreciated SMPN 255 East Jakarta, which successfully won 1st place in the 2023 National Level Museum Quiz Competition (LCCM).

The LCCM team representing DKI Jakarta Province from SMPN 255 East Jakarta won the rotating trophy from the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Mendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia in the final round held on October 12, 2023.

Head of DKI Jakarta Provincial Cultural Department, Iwan Henry Wardhana, said DKI Disbud will support the interest and enthusiasm of students who are talented in history and culture and are committed to helping students develop their knowledge.

"The success of SMPN 255 East Jakarta in LCCM is an inspiration for all of us and shows how important it is to preserve our cultural and historical heritage," he said.

"Hopefully, this achievement will be the first step in their hopeful journey to preserving and respecting Indonesia's rich culture," Iwan continued.

The LCCM team representing DKI Jakarta Province from SMPN 255 East Jakarta consisted of Rizki Adhi Permana, Arkana Adis Pratama, and Ismail Permata Yorsandhi.

During preparation, they also received support through a series of meetings and guidance from the Museum Association for all National LCCM 2023 participants.

"They have shown dedication, knowledge, and exceptional ability in facing this competition." Said the acting principal of SMPN 255 Jakarta, Heru Purnomo.
