Kukuruyuk Ayam is a traditional Betawi game that is popular in several areas such as Condet - East Jakarta, Kebayoran Lama - South Jakarta and also suburban Jakarta such as Ciledug and Sudimara Tangerang. This game is popularly known as kukuruyuk ayam but there are also those who call it a cockfighting game. This game is called kukuruyuk ayam or cockfighting because each player has to imitate the sound of a rooster crowing.

This game is usually played by boys aged 9-11 years. The equipment is only two sarongs. The game consists of two groups with unlimited members. Each team has its own leader, known as bebato. When the game is about to start, Bebato appoints his team members to be locked in a sarong and squat. One end of the sarong is tied. Then, the two bebatos brought the sarong cage to the boundary line and stopped. The caged members crow imitating the sound of a rooster.

Then, the two bebatos lifted the sarong cage. If the conditions of the champions are equal, then the game begins. And if it is not comparable, it is replaced by a comparable one. The two players who imitated the sound of a rooster collided with their palms and one leg bent back. The two pushed each other to bring each other down. However, the rule is that both players must not cross the line. The winner is the one who can knock down the opponent then the game starts again with another opponent.
