A total of 30 members of the Jakarta Arts Council (DKJ) for the 2023-2026 period were inaugurated by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday (22/9/2023).

The inauguration ceremony of DKJ Period 2023-2026 was attended by the Head of DKI Jakarta Cultural Department, Iwan Henry Wardhana, and his staff.

Referring to Governor Decree Number 498 of 2023 concerning the Composition of Members of the Jakarta Arts Council for the Period of Service 2023-2026, the Jakarta Arts Council consists of 30 members divided into 6 committees, namely the Theater Committee (5 people), Fine Arts Committee (5 people), Literature Committee (5 people), Dance Committee (5 people), Music Committee (5 people), Film Committee (5 people).

With this inauguration, it is hoped that it can support and embrace all artists in Jakarta and continue to create programs and works of art that can raise the image of Jakarta as a global city of Culture and bring a spirit of novelty that will have an impact on the progress of arts and culture in DKI Jakarta.
