PPID Vision Mission

PPID Vision :

The realization of transparent and accountable information services to fulfill the rights of information applicants under the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations

PPID Mission:

1. Improve the management and service of quality, correct and responsible information.
2. Build and develop a supply system and provide information services.
3. Improve and develop the competence and quality of human resources in information services.
4. Realizing the information disclosure of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government with a fast, precise, straightforward process.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Authorities of Regional Apparatus PPID

Responsibility:

  1. PPID in the Regional Apparatus is responsible for public information services, which include storing, documenting, providing services, and announcements of information that can be accessed by the public per the provisions of the legislation.
  2. Public information as referred to in number 1 is collected by collecting public information on the Regional Apparatus for making and updating a list of public information at least 1 (one) time in 1 (one) month.

Task

  1. Providing information services to the public
  2. Store, document, provide and provide information services to the public
  3. Assist the Provincial PPID in carrying out their duties
  4. Verifying public information materials
  5. Updating information and documentation
  6. Providing information and documentation for public information requesters to access
  7. Conduct an inventory of excluded information for further consequence testing
  8. Making information service reports
  9. Carry out other tasks ordered by PPID's superiors

Authority

  1. Coordinate public information services at the Regional Apparatus and/or functional officials within the scope of their work
  2. Establishing/determining public information accessible to the public or not based on testing of consequences
  3. Refuse the request for public information in writing if the requested public information includes excluded/confidential information accompanied by reasons and notification of the rights and procedures for the applicant for public information to file an objection to the refusal
  4. Create, maintain and/or update a list of public information periodically at least 1 (one) time in 1 (one) month
  5. Request and obtain information from the work unit/work unit component that is the scope of its work

Public Information Service Time

  • Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 4 PM

Break

  • Monday to Thursday 12 AM - 1 PM
  • Friday 11.30 AM - 1 PM

Public Information Service Fee

  1. The provision and provision of public information services to information applicants is free of charge (article 53 paragraph 3).
  2. Suppose the applicant intends to reproduce or record public information. In that case, the information requested may make copies or recordings at his own expense in the vicinity of the PPID location with the PPID information service officer or provide a CD/VCD/Flashdisk for recording public information data (article 53 paragraph 4).
  3. If the applicant wishes to obtain a copy of the information by sending postal services and courier services, postal fees and courier fees are charged by the provisions of fees at the postal service office and courier service office (article 53 paragraph 5).

Timeframe for Completion

Completion of the process to fulfill a request for public information is carried out after the public information requestor has fulfilled the specified requirements :
  1. The completion time is no later than 10 (ten) working days from receiving the request. The information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) will submit a notification stating whether the requested information is in their possession. PPID may extend the time by no later than 7 (seven) working days.
  2. Submission / Distribution / Delivery of public information to public information requesters is done directly via email, fax, or postal services.
