Traditional Sports of Fortress

  1. The game of fort - fortification is carried out by two groups. Each group consists of 10 – 20 children or according to the number of students. The purpose of this game is to train honesty, dexterity, speed, and agility and train children's thinking skills in winning this game. The main objective of the game is to attack and take over the opponent's 'fort' by touching the pole or pillar that the opponent has chosen and shouting the word fort. Victory can also be achieved by 'captivating' all members of the opponent by touching their bodies. Determine who is entitled to be 'captive' and 'captive' is determined from the last time when the 'captive' or 'captive' touched their respective 'fort'. Here's how to play fortresses:
  2. Must form 2 groups, each group must be equal in number or balanced so that this game can run fairly. Minimum of 10-20 children.
  3. Each child who has formed a group occupies each fort that has been determined by the teacher.
  4. To start this game one of the children from each fortress must run out to lure the enemy from the opposing fort.
  5. A child who comes out first from his fort, the child who will be chased by his opponent. On the other hand, if the child who was out for the first time returns to his original fort, the child who was chasing him will be chased in turn.
  6. Each child must try to catch each other according to the predetermined rules as much as possible until one of the forts can be controlled.
  7. The group that has been declared victorious if it has succeeded in controlling the opponent's fortress and if by the time specified both groups do not succeed in controlling the enemy's fortress, a group is declared victorious by looking at the number of prisoners captured.

The Game Rules are as follows:

  1. A child who comes out of his fort before one of the opponents from the enemy's fortress comes out, then that child has the right to pursue.
  2. A child must not chase back until he has touched his fort again.
  3. If one of the limbs is touched by a child who is chased, then the child who was being chased must be a prisoner.
  4. The captives had to line up in a straight line parallel to the enemy's stronghold and hold hands.
  5. Prisoners can be free if their friends can free them by touching one of their friend's limbs.
