Sahibu Hikayat; Nurlaila Putri Jin (3) Exhausted

Tajul Arifin: Father! I'm sorry, but I have no desire to have a wife father. So as soon as the King heard his son's answer, which was so firmly refusing to take a wife, the King whispered to his queen:

King: Oh dear, come here, we whisper. Why doesn't Tajul want to be married? Don't be afraid that he has no desire to have a wife.

Empress: Already, dear, don't force him if he doesn't want to. It's better to wait until he's willing.

King: That's good, then. Finally, the king couldn't force his unwilling son to marry. The king waited until his son's desire to marry arose.

Syahdan said in the hikayat punjangga, who has a story, and we are not told the lengths to which the King and his queen went to wait to see when the child's desire to be married arose. Now we say to the story where there is a country or kingdom of the jinns at the bottom of the sea. The ruling king of the jinns was the King of the Jinn Afrijul Gaos, and this king of the Jinn Afrigul Gaos said in the hikayat, had a daughter named Nurlaila.

This Nurlaila daughter, although the daughter of a jinn, was gorgeous, if the Sundanese say, ‘geulisna kabina-bina teuing,’ and again, this person is a princess who is still original, a patent girl, a virgin, only seventeen years old. Kalu diumpamain mangge, mangge yam, do not kate dicocol garem, dikeletakin also already tasty. Indeed, Nurlaila's beauty is difficult to compare. Her nose was sharp, her hair was waist-length, and she walked like a ‘cendol berarakan.’ Her skin is white, and her neck is Semarang. Her body cut was rich in sampiran, and her clothes fit perfectly. So, we won't go into the details of Nurlaila's beauty.

Syahdan, we are told in the hikayat, happened one night. The jinn who were in the palace at the bottom of the sea all came out of the sea to go to the world to look for their needs, and then the jinn all went straight up into the sky. According to the 'hikayat pujangga' who owns the story, the departure of the jinn each has a purpose. Some went shopping at the plaza, some relaxed in Ancol, and some Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Princess Nurlaila also went to the great sky. A genie, a genie king Afrijul Gaos subordinate named Genie Kaskas, escorted her. The Kaskas genie was too scary. He had a three-square head. His stomach was hanging out. He wore a pair of pants and a striped T-shirt. We have yet to find out where Nurlaila went. Up to this point, we can tell the story while waiting for news of where Nurlaila went.

The host, as sahibul hajat, has served fried rice.

Thus was the narration of the hikayat presented by Haji Ja'it.
