Sadariah shirt

This Jakarta traditional clothing typical of Betawi is intended for men.

It looks similar to a koko shirt and is made of cotton with a high collar model.

It is buttoned from top to bottom and has pockets on the front of the shirt, each on the right and bottom left sides.

There are also sadariah shirts that are equipped with slits on the right and left sides of the shirt so that they are not too tight and comfortable to wear.

Nowadays, sadariah shirts are made with various variations of embroidery on the collar, in the center or right and left.

This shirt is equipped with a folded sarong and placed on the shoulder, called a cukin.

In addition, they wear a plain black cap or ‘kopiyah’ and ‘terompah’ slippers as footwear.

Parents who wear it also sometimes wear accessories like stone rings and bahar bracelets.
