Inside the Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) block is the Jakarta Planetarium, which President Soekarno inaugurated in 1964. The Jakarta Planetarium is a vehicle for educational tours and simulations of astrology and celestial objects. In addition,  Jakarta Planetarium is an educational tourism facility that can provide performances/demonstrations of simulations of astrology or celestial objects. Visitors are invited to wander in the universe to understand the conception of the universe.
