‘Gundu Kusir’ Traditional Sports

Betawi children's games are known in the Marunda area, North Jakarta. This game is only played by boys aged around 7-12 years and is played in the open. The minimum number of players is two people. This game comes from the elements of two words, namely gundu and charioteer. Gundu means "marble or keneker", which is a round object made of glass or porcelain. The coachman comes from the word ngrusir which means "to order to go far in various ways, if in this game by flicking or flicking the opponent's mound far away". This type of coachman gundu game has existed since the Dutch colonial period, then since the 1950s, this game began to disappear. Players throw mounds as their gacoan in turns, the mound closer to the available hole must repel the opponent's mound. For opponents whose mounds have been driven far away, to insert their mounds into the hole, they must poke the mounds with their index fingers. He allows shoving his mound 3 times, and if in 3 shovels he cannot also put his mound into the hole, then the next player is allowed to throw his mound far away. If he experiences 5 times being kicked out by the opponent, then he is declared defeated.
