Gobak sodor or known as hadang, terrobos, galasin, or gala asin is one of the many traditional Indonesian games that are rarely played by children in urban areas today. The name Gobak Sodor comes from the words Gobag and Sodor. The word Gobag itself means to move freely, while sodor means spear. Then there is another version of the meaning of gobak sodor, namely from the sentence Go Back Through the Door which means going back through the door according to the rules of this game. It is said that because it is difficult to pronounce, Indonesians call this game Gobak Sodor. The philosophy of this game is to move like the spears of the heroes in the colonial era who move to escape from the invaders, so this game requires a strategy to be free from the opponent's intercepts to achieve victory. Speed ​​and cohesiveness that begins with the unity of the heart between teams are the keys to success. The whole team must also be in good health. So make sure when you want to play this game, your little one's physical condition is prime. The gobak sodor game does not require tools and is usually played outside the home. Rule of the game:

1. Divide players into 2 groups, namely guards and attackers (usually one group consists of 5 people).
2. If a group consists of 5 people, then a court is needed which is divided into 4 rectangular boxes (like a badminton court).
3. The attacking group will guard each line (4 horizontal lines and 1 vertical line).
4. The horizontal line guard may only move left and right according to the position of the line where he is on guard, as well as the vertical line attacker who may only move up and down.
5. The attacking team is asked to cross the field from one side as a starting point to the opposite side, provided that it must not be touched or touched by the guard team or go outside the field boundary line. If hit by touch or clapping from the guard team, the player will be declared dead and out of the game.
6. The attacking team is declared defeated if all of its players are captured by the guard team.
7. The game can be resumed by changing roles, the guard team becomes the attacking team and vice versa.
