Gangsing (spinning top) game is one of the traditional games of the Betawi people. Playing gangsing with this take is different from the gangsing games described above. In this game, each participant puts a gangsing fruit in a circle (same as chirping and matching). After the draw, the participant who has the right to walk first demonstrates the gangsingan by hitting the gangsingan into the pile of gangsingan in the circle. Any gangsing that comes out of the circle belongs to the person who hit it. Each participant may only hit his gangsing once in one round. This game is also known as Tangkalan (blocking). Gangsing is usually made from tamarind wood, guava wood, sapodilla wood, mahogany wood, stink bean wood, jackfruit wood, and waru wood.
