Paper Material Conservation Activities

One of the DKI Jakarta Culture Office is to conserve culture heritage objects and museum collections as a form of cultural preservation.
This time, Cultural Heritage Conservation Center held a paper material conservation activities. This conservation was held in 3rd Floor Laboratory of Cultural Heritage Conservation Center.

The stages of activities include:
1. Dry cleaning with a soft brush
2. Identification of books collections against damage
3. Coordination with experts
4. Checking the pH of the paper
5. Checking for fragility and fading
6. Laminating
