Lapangan Banteng
Lapangan Banteng is famously known for the West Irian Liberation Monument. It was built to commemorate Operation Tri Komando Rakyat (Trikora) and West Irian people from the grasp of Dutch East Indies.
The park is located exactly in front of the Ministry of Finance, Central Jakarta. Near the park lies St. Ursula Catholic School and Jakarta Cathedral. And the Istiqlal Mosque, one of Jakarta icons, stands side by side beside the cathedral.
Towards Pejambon street, you can find the Ministry of Foreign Affairs near Immanuel Church. The church itself is right in front of Gambir Station.
