But the long-standing marriage between King Saiful Muluk and Princess Sakanda Cahaya Rum had not been blessed with children. Finally, King Saiful Muluk remarried with Princess Sakanda Bayang and was blessed with twins named Makdam and Makdim.

Princess Sakanda Cahaya Rum was restless because she was no longer cared for by the king. Then she prayed to Allah SWT to be blessed with a child and Allah granted his prayer.

Finally, Putri Sakanda Cahaya Rum gave birth to a child named Jaya Lengkara. When Jaya Lengkara was born, the country became prosperous and peaceful. This made the king was surprised and ordered his sons Makadam and Makadim to predict the fate of Jaya Lengkara to a kadi (judge).

The kadi predicted that one day Jaya Lengkara would become the king of all kings, powerful, and no one would be able to defeat him from both the jinn and human groups. Makadam and Makadim were disappointed to hear the results of the Jaya Lengkara prediction. Both of them lied to their father by twisting the facts and stating that one day Jaya Lengkara would bring calamity that would cause the country to perish.

The king believed in the incitement of Makadam and Makadim and exiled Jaya Lengkara and his mother into the jungle. In the jungle, Jaya Lengkara and his mother lived in a cave.

At one time, Jaya Lengkara was thirsty and wanted to suckle, but because his mother had not eaten and drank for days, he could not breastfeed Jaya Lengkara. Jaya Lengkara cried and rolled on the ground. With Allah's permission, water came out of the ground and the mother immediately drank the water so that she could breastfeed Jaya Lengkara. Jaya Lengkara grew up to be an adult with many of skills.

In short, Jaya Lengkara who has grown up now goes to the mountains of Egypt and then gets kuma-kuma flowers at the top of the mountain. There he met Princess Ratna Kasina.

After that, Jaya Lengkara and Ratna Kasina went to the country of Ajam Saukat to heal their father, Raja Saiful Muluk, who was sick. After that, Jaya Lengkara returned to the jungle to look for his mother, while Princess Ratna Kasina lived in the royal palace of Ajam Saukat.

There, Princess Ratna could not stand the behavior of the twin half-brothers of Jaya Lengkara, Makadam and Makadim who often teased Princess Ratna. Makadam and Makadim then tried to kill Jaya Lengkara by throwing him into the sea but his plan failed, Jaya Lengkara was saved by a dragon.

The dragon then brought Jaya Lengkara and Putri Ratna Kasina to the land of Madinah. The King of Madinah was very happy; Jaya Lengkara was married to Princess Ratna Kasina. And Raja Madina was later married to Mrs. Jaya Lengkara. Jaya Lengkara finally became the King of Madinah.
