Hikayat Arjuna Mangunjaya: The Adventure of Arjuna in Search of His Wife
The Hikayat Arjuna Mangunjaya manuscript is one of the Pecenongan manuscripts written by Muhammad Bakir. Very few sources can be found in the explanation of this manuscript. However, in outline this text tells of a member of the Pandawa family, namely Arjuna, who is looking for his wife named Kawintarsah. It is said that Kawintarsah was kidnapped by the Garuda.
The text of the Hikayat Arjuna Mangunjaya manuscript is written in a European cash book on blue and red lined paper, measuring 33 x 21 cm. The text is written in black, red, green and blue ink, using Arabic-Jawi script in Malay.
Even though the color of the ink is faded, the writing is still clearly legible. The script is still in good condition. Brownish colored script paper. A sheet has fallen off the drain or is torn on the side.
