"Instilling children to love going to museums, getting to know past civilizations for their provision as the next generation who will maintain the nation's historical and cultural heritage," said Misari, Sunday (27/8).

Misari continued this activity was designed for children aged 8-12 years. First, the participants were introduced to the simulation of archaeological excavation, and they will feel the sensation of archaeological discovery, digging artifacts like a real archaeologist.

Then, an exploration into the mysteries of caves, learning about human skeletons and gaining insight into the past.

According to him, this event is held regularly every year and is always awaited by enthusiastic parents or schools to include their children.

"Seeing the enthusiasm and high interest from the community, in the future this public program will be made routine, and can even be followed independently by families or schools," said Misari.

DKI Jakarta Cultural Department Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana, added that his side appreciated Maritime Museum UP for organizing this event well.

He hopes this educational tour and historical learning can be held annually, the quota of participants is added, and the material is enriched.

"Through this activity, children understand the importance of civilization and power in the past. It can even give birth to archaeologists in the future, as well as provide additional insight to parents on the importance of providing museum education to children," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the participants' parents, Aisa Widyastri (40), admitted that she was happy and thanked Maritime Museum UP for organizing this cool and fun event. Of course, children can add insight and unforgettable experiences.
